Kent Bye did a fantastic visualization of putting together a cheap taxonomy/term page override. It helps to have already created this when looking at it, but it does give an idea, at least, of what's going on.

Very good representation of what panels 2 can do with taxonomy context. Could effectively replace book module functionality.
Useful
This kind of visual map could also be useful for simpler modules or handbook pages. Most people learn faster and memorize better with some kind of visual support.
